ISLAMABAD: A local court in Islamabad issued non-bailable arrest warrants for former president Gen. (retd) Pervaiz Musharraf in Ghazi Abdul Rasheed murder case.
Additional Sessions Judge Pervez Qadir Memon issued the non-bailable arrest warrants and directed authorities concerned to produce the former president before the court on March 16.
The court dismissed Pervez Musharraf's plea seeking permanent exemption from having to appear before the court and issued non-bailable arrest warrants.
The counsel for Pervez Musharraf said they would challenge the order.
The former president has never appeared before the court during 55 hearings of the Ghazi Abdul Rasheed murder case.
This is the fourth non-bailable arrest warrant issued for Musharraf in this case.
