ISLAMABAD: The Presidency on Wednesday received a summary seeking appointment of Iqbal Zafar Jhagra as Governor of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
Sources told Geo News that the summary was moved by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
The position fell vacant after Sardar Mehtab Abbasi resigned as KP Governor earlier this month.
Sources said that Abbasi decided to step down as he wanted to partake in the parliamentary politics.
