Quetta students forced to give exams on floor

QUETTA: In the absence of desks at an examination centre students appearing for their matriculation examination have been forced sit on the floor and write their test papers.

Ninth grade students appearing on Friday for board exams at the Kali Shaikhan High School, near Arbab Karam Road, gave exams sitting on the floor.

At the same centre on Thursday students appeared for their exams in the open as rain slashed at them and pools of water gathered at their feet.

Balochistan is the worst performing province when it comes to school infrastructure, according to a recent report by not-for-profit organization Alif Ailaan.
