KARACHI: The Rangers paramilitary force has moved the Supreme Court of Pakistan to allow them to run their own lock-ups, grant annual extensions and timely posting of prosecutors; without these the courts directives will not be fulfilled.
Justice Azmat Saeed remarked that the Rangers have fulfilled their responsibility and the matter is now between the government the the province. The honourable justice ordered the federal and provincial government to sit down with the Apex committee and resolve the matter.
