Musharraf to undertake foreign trip soon: Kasuri

KARACHI: The foreign visit for former present General (retd) Pervez Musharraf will be finalized in the next day or two, the former military ruler’s close aide Ahmed Raza Kasuri said Wednesday.

Kasuri said that Musharraf will either leave for Dubai or London in his first trip abroad in years.

Kasuri, who is also part of Pervez Musharraf’s legal team, said in his opinion that the latter will undertake a foreign trip as soon as possible following the Supreme Court’s orders today to maintain an earlier decision of the Sindh High court to remove his name from the Exit Control List (ECL).

He said Musharraf will take a normal flight to travel abroad.

Ahmed Raza Kasuri said both Dubai and London are the destinations where Pervez Musharraf can get the medical treatment he requires.
