KARACHI: Two alleged terrorists succumbed to their wounds on Saturday after they were injured during a police shoot out at Mehmoodabad.
Police conducted a search operation at Kashmir Colony when the terrorists opened fire. In the shootout which followed they suffered gunshot wounds, police said.
Suicide jackets, hand grenades and weapons were confiscated from them, police said.
In a separate incident at MPR Colony, Mangopir, two alleged terrorists were shot dead. The terrorists attacked a police mobile as they were conducting a search operation in the area, SSP West Azfar Mahesar said.
At the New Karachi Industrial Area two terrorists identified as Jannat Gul and Rashid Minhas were shot dead.
At Baldia Town police arrested two men wanted for selling drugs and kidnapping for ransom.
A raid near the Lyari General Hospital resulted in the arrest of Mama Rashid of the Baba Ladla Group. He ran the Baba Ladla Gang network, police said.
