BERLIN: Germany's interior minister said Monday there was no need for "alarmism" over the threat of terrorist attacks, after the United States, Britain and Japan issued a travel alert for Europe.
"We take all leads seriously and investigate them with high intensity," Thomas de Maiziere told reporters. "But there is no need to be alarmist."
