Police arrest three men for alleged sexual abuse of disabled boy

FAISLABAD: Police arrested three men on Saturday for alleged sexual abuse of a 14-year old boy with an intellectual disability and posting his video on a social media website.

The boy’s father speaking to Geo News said that five men in his neighbourhood had sexually abused the boy, filmed the act and posted it on social media.

Police did not register an FIR till its news was aired on electronic media.They were later pressurized into registering an FIR against the five men.

Police arrested three of the accused men, while two are at large.

Earlier this month, a 20-year old girl under treatment at Islamabad's Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences was allegedly raped by a male nurse.

The girl who hailed from Swat was differently-abled and was seeking treatment at the Intensive Care Unit for the last one month.
