Tahir Shah's Angel garners 7 million views on social media

Taher Shah’s song 'Angel' seems to have reached a milestone today. In a press release by the singer’s manager, it was stated that the video of the song had received around 7 million views on social media.

“With gratitude we are very pleased to announce that our world renowned famous singer celebrity Mr. Taher Shah latest phenomenal masterpiece viral song *ANGEL* that has already received from YouTube, Facebook, vimeo, dailymotion, soundcloud etc. almost 7 Million views within a two weeks of its release,” the statement read in broken English.

The enthusiastic team expressed hope that the song would cross the 1-billion views mark worldwide soon.

In April, the singer who shot to fame with his 2013 song 'Eye to Eye' made a come-back with a funnier song 'Angel' which took the internet by a storm.

The video where he dresses up in purple robes and fake plastic wings got over 200,000 views, 13 hours after its release.

Taher was invited to television shows to talk about the song. He received international attention and publications like the Washington Post and BBC ran stories on him.
