PTI chairman announces 'record-breaking rally' in Faisalabad on Friday

MUZAFFARABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Wednesday announced what he called a 'record-breaking' party rally in Faisalabad on May 20, as he addressed a public gathering in Azad Kashmir’s Muzaffarabad district.

The PTI chairman in his speech said that if he becomes the prime minister of Pakistan he would promote the plight of the Kashmiri people on every platform.

Imran Khan also said, “When Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry would become the prime minister of Azad Kashmir, he would introduce independent accountability.”

The PTI chairman said that once he is in power and if anyone is found involved in corruption in Azad Kashmir, then he (Imran Khan) would be responsible for it.

We will strengthen the institutions and make such institutions that no one would dare to get involved in corruption, he added.

Imran said that the Kyber Pakhtunkhwa police is considered as the best and if in power his party would also streamline the AK police.

The premier while harshly criticising Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said, “Mian Sahab is thinking he will get saved somehow, but he is mistaken.”

Imran said that he was hoping that the prime minister will tell the truth in front of the Parliament.

“When Nawaz Sharif goes to India he is more concerned about his business than the right of Kashmiris,” said Imran.

The PTI chairman also didn’t spare the premier’s coalition partner Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Fazlur Rehman and said, “Maulana’s slogan is 'Raise the price, Nawaz Sharif, we are with you!'"

Imran said that Fazlur Rehman is trying to save Nawaz Sharif and his corruption.

On the subject of the incidents related to mismanagement and mistreatment of women in PTI rallies, the party chairman said that PTI respects women and strict treatment would be meted out to the troublemakers.

While warning miscreants not to come close to women in the party’s rallies, Imran Khan said that for the protection of women a tiger force is ready.
