MULTAN: Three nurses attempted to suicide by trying to jump off the Chowk Kachehri Fly-over as their protest ended it third day.
Nurses of the Nishtar Hospital braved the heat to protest for their right to take days off from work. The protesting nurses claim that the hospital management has not allowed them to take their annual leaves for three years.
The nurses chanted slogans against the hospital management and blocked Nishtar Road for some time.
On Wednesday, one of the protesters fell unconscious due to extreme heat.
