Assailants kill five , burn vehicle

TURBAT: At least five people were killed on Monday when unidentified gunmen opened fire on a vehicle at Mand area.

According to Levies sources, the attackers also burnt the vehicle after the firing incident.

The five passengers died on the spot, following which the attackers threw their bodies out of the vehicle and set the car on fire.

The Levies force reached the area and took the dead bodies into custody.

The attackers were armed with latest weapons, Levies sources said.

The dead were identified as Ameen, Moeed, Nadil,Qayyum and Kareem and said to be locals.

No reason could be established as to why the locals were gunned down.
