Policeman killed, 11 injured in Quetta roadside blast

QUETTA: A policeman was killed and 11 others suffered injuries after a roadside bomb went off in Quetta on Tuesday.

“It was a remote-controlled bomb blast. Terrorists are going after soft targets,” Balochistan Home Minister Sarfaraz Bugti said. He expressed resolve that terrorists would be taken to logical end. Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan condemned the blast and ordered an inquiry.

According to the information available with Geo News, the blast occurred on Spini road and the injured included four policemen and seven civilian bystanders.
