BATGRAM: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Imran Khan on Wednesday condemned the US drone strike which killed Afghan Taliban leader Mullah Mansour.
He was speaking at the inauguration of a hydel power project.
“A friendly country does not attack its allies. Can this war be won by drones?” he asked. He added that each time a Taliban leader is killed another takes his place.
The PTI chief lashed out against the prime minister. “When Nawaz Sharif was not in power he was against drone strikes. But not he is quiet,” he said.
Speaking about the power project he said that by 2018 the province will be supplied with 1000MW of electricity.
A US drone strike in Balochistan on Saturday killed Mullah Mansour.
