Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished speedy recovery to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif as news of his open heart surgery made the rounds on Friday.
In a message on Twitter he said, “My best wishes to PM Nawaz Sharif Sahab for his open heart surgery on Tuesday. And for his speedy recovery & good health.”

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is to undergo an open heart surgery in London on Tuesday and is expected to stay in the hospital during his week long recovery period.
The news of his surgery was shared by daughter, Mariam Nawaz Sharif on twitter as she appealed to people to pray for the Prime Minister’s health.
Several politicians have taken to Twitter since then shoving aside all differences to wish the prime minister good health.
Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah's daughter Nafisa Shah sent her get-well-soon message through Twitter. So did Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chief Imran Khan and Pakistan People's Party Co-chairman Bilawal Bhutto.
