LAHORE: A private school located in the Iqbal Town area of the city was sealed by the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) over the non-payment of commercialisation fees.
The LDA sealed the main and other gates of the private school on Thursday morning while students and teachers were still present inside. A large number of parents gathered at the school and by the afternoon the school’s management broke the seals to let the students and teachers out.
LDA officials said the school’s management was sent three notices but failed to pay the commercialisation fees.
