Court astonished at offices shuffle

ISLAMABAD: Justice Khalilur Rehman Ramday said Sardar Lateef Khosa would be better if he was appointed as the PM’s adviser for Disaster Management, Geo News reported Wednesday.

It should be mentioned here that Sardar Lateef was removed from office of PM’s adviser for IT to plead the government’s case. And, the previous counsel of the government Kamal Azfar has been promoted to office of PM’s adviser for Disaster Management.

Justice Ramday said, “The one who the Law asks to prosecute before the court, has been made adviser and the one who was functioning as adviser, has been picked up to be prosecuting counsel.’

He addressed Khosa, saying, ‘Your Muzaffargarh is an area most affected by flood; so, you should have been appointed as adviser for Disaster Management.’

Justice Ramday remarked without taking the name of Kamal Azfar, the one who resides in Clifton, might not have seen Muzaffargarh even in a map.
