RAWALPINDI: Sale of warm clothes has increased manifold in the city with the winter season just around the corner.
The demand for warm clothes for kids, new as well as second-hand, is gaining momentum in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad due to slow but steady change in weather conditions.
Shopkeeper at Commercial Market, said that the customers demand for warm clothes like sweaters, shawls and other clothing has witnessed noticeable increase in view of the approaching winter.
People belonging to middle and lower classes are visiting Lunda Bazaar to purchase warm clothes. Moreover, several markets in Raja Bazaar, Bara Market and Jamia Masjid Road cater to the needs of people with regard to second hand garments.
Stalls of winter clothes and sales points of shoes can be witnessed at Faizabad, Commercial Market, Sadiqabad Chowk, Raja Bazaar and at many other big shopping malls and markets to attract the customers.
