CHITRAL: Pakistan Army troops are busy in relief operations in Chitral where multiple houses were washed away due to flash floods. Troops have also provided food, tents and medical air to the affected people in Arsoon village.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) wing of the Pakistan Army, search operations for missing persons are being conducted while injured are being shifted to the DHQ hospital for treatment. At least 31 people were swept away due to flash floods.
The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) confirmed that 7 bodies have been recovered while search operations continue for the remaining.
