Imran Khan's sister apologizes to Maryam Nawaz Sharif

LAHORE: Two days after hurling allegations that policemen part of the first-daughter’s squad had harassed and threatened her, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan’s sister Dr. Uzma Khan on Sunday tendered a written apology to the prime minister’s daughter Maryam Nawaz Sharif.

Dr. Uzma Khan has also requested that Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif launch an inquiry into the incident, adding that the police’s ignorance about the identities of various armed convoys plying the streets in Lahore highlights their incompetence.
