FAISALABAD: Family of a patient admitted in Faisalabad’s Allied Hospital protested after a security guard had allegedly subjected them to torture.

According to details, the patient Tahir from Chiniot was brought to the hospital a few days ago. Wednesday night an argument broke out between the guard and the family after they entered the emergency ward of the hospital, apparently without any permission.

The argument soon developed into a full-blown brawl after which the family started to protest outside the ward, alleging that the guard had subjected them to torture.

The staff of the hospital, feeling unsafe, stopped working. However, after the suspension of SHO Civil Line Police Station, they stopped protesting and resumed work.
