Wasan takes notice of absences at Sindh Small Industries Corporation

KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Industries, Manzoor Wassan on Monday visited Sindh Small Industries Corporation and took stern measures of issuing show cause notices to managing director and six other directors for absent from the office.

The employees of the corporation apprised the minister that they had been deprived of salaries for the last 11 months. The minister assured employees of releasing outstanding funds before Eid-ul-Azha.

The minister disclosed that instead 326 employees the corporation hired 875 employees and out of which only 123 attend office.

Two women employees complained they had not received salaries for past many months and it was difficult for them to attend office. At this moment the minister has given away Rs5,000 each to both the women.
