Singer Humaira Arshad receives first divorce from husband Ahmed Butt

LAHORE: Star couple Ahmed Butt and Humaira Arshad finally decided to break their ties after the latter confirmed receiving first divorce from her husband.

According to details, Humaira Arshad said that the couple mutually decided to part ways and she has been living with her mother for the last two months.

He further said that legal formalities and religious requirements in this regard would soon be fulfilled.

In May, pop singer accused her husband of deceit, domestic violence and attempts to kidnap her four-year-old son.

At a press conference in Lahore, Humaira had said that she had been married to Butt for 12 years but the two had recently fallen out and were now separated.

Two days prior to Humaira’s press conference, her husband in another press conference in Lahore had said that Humaira and producer Sakhi Sarwar would be responsible if any harm is done to him and his family.
