Gunman injures polio worker in Larkana

LARKANA: An unknown gunman on Thursday opened fire at a female polio worker.
The injured polio worker was transferred to Chandka Hospital.
Police arrested the accused and recovered weapons from him.
Attacks on polio worker in Pakistan have alarmed security forces and global health officials. In April this year six policemen guarding a polio vaccination drive in Karachi were shot dead.
Pakistan remains among the only three countries of the world which is still fighting the crippling virus.
