Creativity, lyrics, music, Pakistani cinema has it all: Om Puri

LAHORE: Veteran Indian actor Om Puri has said that be it creativity, lyrics or music, Pakistan film industry has it all.

Having played a role in a Lollywood flick, the veteran Indian actor also reached Lahore for its promotions. He could not hold back from expressing his feelings upon witnessing the Lahoriites' love for him.

Speaking at a presser flanked by Pakistani celebs Fahad Mustafa and Mehwish Hayat, he thanked the people of Pakistan for showering their love on him.

"I thank you, thank this country, for having been regarded as a loved one," said Puri, before a crowd of excited fans trying to have a glimpse of the veteran actor.

Earlier during his visit to a private college in Lahore, the actor mingled with students, danced and sang his heart out.

Om Puri said that the way India-Pakistan relations are projected, reality is quite opposed to that.

He said that a few elements intend to defame Pakistan and Islam, through bomb blasts, but if we stand determined, then we can resolve any issue amicably.
