KARACHI: Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) chairman Mustafa Kamal on Friday said that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Farooq Sattar was staging a ‘drama’.
He said this after the MQM had supported the condemnation resolution submitted in the National Assembly by the government and opposition today.
The resolution was unanimously approved in NA which condemned the violence in Karachi on August 22 when the party’s founder incited MQM workers to violence.
Speaking outside Parliament, MQM leader Dr Farooq Sattar said that action should be taken according to the law and constitution.
Sattar added that MQM had severely condemned anti-Pakistan slogans and the party should not be cornered.
Addressing a press conference in Karachi, Mustafa Kamal said that they had no issue on what was happening with MQM, their concern was with the anti-Pakistan slogan that had been chanted.
“What kind of a mental stress was this where a person insults Pakistan? Why that person doesn’t insult himself or India under the stress”, questioned Kamal.
He said that Farooq Sattar wants a door to remain open in the party, adding that the MQM leader was staging a ‘drama’.
“We knew it from the start that all of this was a secret agreement between them. Altaf Hussain has been RAW’s agent for many years”, he added.
PSP chairman further said that the MQM London leaders tweeted on the orders of party founder.
