LAHORE: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is flexing its political muscle in the provincial capital ahead of its Ehtesab rally today.

Roads leading to Mall Road from Shahdara have been blocked for traffic creating trouble for citizens.
PTI chief Imran Khan speaking to media at Zaman Park said, "The government has stopped our rally by placing containers. I will tell people how Nawaz Sharif has destroyed this country. Our rally today will be historic."
Earlier, senior leaders of the PTI including Asad Umer, Jehangir Tareen and Shah Mehmood Qureshi reviewed arrangement at the rally venue.
Allies, including Chaudhrys of Pakistan Muslim League-Q Dr Tahirul Qadri of Pakistan Awami Tehreek and Pakistan People’s Party, while Jamaat-e-Islami has also supported the PTI rally.
The main demand for the rally is holding the ruling PML-N accountable for their alleged offshore accounts named in the Panama Papers.
