LAHORE: Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had made the route of its rally to affect people.
The provincial law minister further said the government had requested PTI to hold its rally in Shahdra, as their proposed route would affect people. However, according to Sanaullah, PTI did not listen.
Sanauallah speaking to Geo News said PTI had told the administration that the rally would end at six but ‘the catwalk began at three’.
“Organisers of the rally did not cooperate with the government,” Sanaullah said.
When asked about the closure of routes in the city, Sanaullah replied it was necessary to close some routes but alternative routes had been established for the convenience of residents.
