RAWALPINDI: Motorcycle riding assailants gunned down a bride on Sunday on Rawalpindi’s Chakri road, police sources said.
According to police sources, the bride was coming back from a beauty parlour when attackers opened fire on her.
Police sources said that the firing incident occurred over a family dispute.
The deceased girl’s brother spoke to Geo News and claimed that his cousin killed his sister.
The brother said that the paternal cousin had warned the family against marrying the girl off.
One of the bride’s sisters also lost her life due to a family enmity five years ago.
