Martyrs’ monument unveiled at Bahria Town Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: A monument commemorating martyrs was unveiled on Monday in Bahria Town Islamabad.

Bahria Town Chairman Malik Riaz attended the inauguration ceremony of the ‘Yadgar-i-Nishan-e-Haider’.

At the event, he announced a fireworks display in Karachi on September 6, Pakistan’s National Defence Day.

“We should always remember the martyrs of September,” Chairman Bahria Town said.

He responded to one of the questions and said that if the Arab countries' armies were as professional as ours then the current situation as seen in Libya and Iraq could have been avoided.

The Bahria Town chairman lauded the services rendered by the Pakistan's armed forces and said that we should be grateful to our soldiers for giving sacrifices for us on a daily basis.
