Imran Khan’s breakfast fit for a king

KARACHI: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan started his day with rich breakfast at a party worker’s house.

Parathas, paya, liver, fried fish, kebabs, qeema and fresh fruit waited for him at the table.

He visited the party vice chairman Mansoor Sheikh’s residence where a large number of party workers had gathered. He was late by a few hours, and many workers began eating before him.

The PTI chief was accompanied by Jehangir Tareen and Dr Arif Alvi.

Workers had to wait for the PTI leaders to arrive and lost patience.  Video from the venue showed Imran Khan being visibly angry. The PTI chairman with his hand blocked a worker who was trying to approach him.

A woman worker of the PTI was also not allowed to meet Imran Khan.

Imran Khan arrived in Karachi on Monday for a rally scheduled today.

A stage has been erected at the Nishtar Park where Imran Khan is expected to address a large number of party supporters.
