Katrina and Sidharth off-boarded from flight

The stars and their extensive promotions - what can we say really? But officials at the Indira Gandhi International Airport sure had something to say – and they made sure the message was loud and clear!

Apparently, Katrina Kaif and Sidarth Malhotra were busy promoting their movie in Delhi and were supposed to board their flight back to Mumbai at 9:40 pm.

When the duo arrived at the airport, fans instantly recognized them and that proved to be the perfect opportunity for the duo to promote their film – at the airport! They got so carried away performing that they delayed the flight till 10:40 pm.

However, the officials at the airport then decided not to wait any longer and instead decided to off-board them at 10:40pm.

Oh but wait… you haven’t heard the whole story. Turns out that this was all a publicity stunt carried out by the team for their upcoming movie ‘Baar Baar Dekho’.

Ah but wait, if you thought that this was it, there is more (isn’t there always?)

The performance apparently didn’t sit down too well with the airport security who took this up as a security scare.

A Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) official said the stars could have taken a visitor’s entry pass if they didn’t intend to fly. “They misguided the airline and the security agency by posing as fliers,” he said.

“It seems they did not board the plane intentionally and had come to promote the movie... But instead boarding, they went to duty free area,” the official said.

Needless to say, the star duo were shocked but then again, you win some you lose some right?
