Pakistan cricket team arrived home on Thursday night after a two-month long England tour where the Green Shirts drew the Test series 2-2, lost the ODI series 1-4 and won the one-off T20I.
T20 captain Sarfraz Ahmed along with two other players reached Karachi overnight. Talking exclusively to Geo News, Sarfraz said all the players had worked extremely hard for the T20 win. He added that drawing the Test series against England was akin to victory as well.
Khalid Latif who reached Karachi as well said that players were in high spirits following the T20 match, in which Pakistan thrashed England by nine wickets. Khalid Latif stayed not out at 59 off 42 balls.
Mohammad Amir, Babar Azam, Hassan Ali, Imad Wasim and Wahab Riaz arrived in Lahore, while Sohail Tanvir, Mohammad Nawaz and Mohammad Rizwan reached Islamabad. They were welcomed at the airport by fans.
