Five killed as lightning strikes Swat village
Five people were killed and three injured when lightning struck in Madyan area of Swat district on Saturday

MINGORA: At least five people were killed and three injured when lightning struck several houses in Madyan area of Swat district on Saturday.
According to police, five people drowned and died and three were injured by the lightning. At least eight houses were damaged by it.
Bodies of all five dead were recovered while the injured were taken to hospital, police said.
Pakistan Army and police started rescue operation in the area following the incident.
