PPP issues notice to Sherry Rehman for appearing on Geo

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People's Party (PPP) has issued a show-cause notice to its leader Sherry Rehman for participating in Geo News’ program Capital Talk whereas women members of PPP protested and raised slogans against her, outside her residence in Karachi, Geo News reported Saturday.

Talking to Geo News, Sherry Rehman said that she did not know about the true identity of the protesters. She also doubted their affiliation with PPP. She said that she was defending her party in the show for which she has been issued the notice.

She told the channel that the notice was issued from the office of the Chief Minister Sindh.
