LAHORE: Azhar Ali is expected to meet Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officials after Eid, sources have informed Geo News.
According to sources, the board is not considering removing Azhar Ali as the ODI captain.
After losing 4-1 to England in the ODI series, there have been reports that Azhar Ali would be removed as captain. However, sources confirm that there are no immediate plans to appoint a new captain for the ODI squad.
Azhar will meet PCB officials and Chief Selector Inzamam-ul-Haq after Eid holidays and discuss reasons for the series loss against England.
