KARACHI: Adviser to CM on Information Maula Bux Chandio Thursday slammed the federal government over lack of coordination among its ministers and termed it center's 'incompetence and failure'.

Speaking to newsmen after a meeting of the Sindh Apex Committee, Chandio said the prime minister has postponed a meeting scheduled on Friday and now CM Murad Ali Shah will not be going to Islamabad.

Admitting the fact that there are some banned organisations that are collecting animal hides under new names, he said the activities of such groups would be stopped and investigations would be held about those who collected hides. The adviser claimed that over 8000 seminaries have been registered in Sindh.

He said there may be foreign hand behind terror attacks, but they were facilitated by the people inside the country.

"There is no one in Sindh, who sympathizes terrorists," he said, adding in the same breath that rulers of other provinces also patronise militants.

Slamming the federation over lack of coordination, Chandio said that one minister sees in one direction, while the direction of other cabinet member is entirely different.

"PM is busy reconciling his cabinet members," he added. "This non-seriousness on national security issues provides others a chance to point fingers."

The provincial adviser said the Nawaz-league now wants to portray itself as oppressed, but we would not let it succeed.

We are not even being regarded as elected representatives of Sindh and Pakistan, he bemoaned, saying the present rulers only belong to a specific region in Punjab.

"This incompetence of the federal government has provided a chance to people like Sheikh Rasheed to speak up," he lamented.
