ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan on Friday said that all political parties want probe on Panama Papers.
Talking to media outside his residence at Bani Gala earlier today, he said “I did not take a solo flight. it is mere propaganda against me”.
Imran Khan said that he wants to commence long march towards Raiwind before the month of Muharram.
“Final date would be announced on Sunday”, he added.
PTI chief said that he wants to include the name of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Exit Control List (ECL) because there were allegations of corruption levelled against him.
“How would he plead Pakistan in UNO in the existence of corruption allegations”, he questioned.
He said that chairman Awami Muslim League (AML) Sheikh Rashid Ahmed is their political ally, adding that he has convened a consultancy meeting of all allies political parties on Sunday to evolve a strategy for Raiwind march
He maintained that after the meeting he would formally announce the date and plan of the march.
PTI chairman said that he is activating the whole party for Raiwind march and negotiations in this regard is being conducted with other parties.
Imran Khan said that he is saying for the last one year that rigging has been committed in the polls but the ruling party PML-N is destroying the state institutions just to rescue them.
He said that all political parties of the country want the probe of Panama papers, therefore, they want to come on the roads to seek justice along with other parties.
Commenting on the PM’s expected visit to the US, PTI chairman said that Nawaz Sharif was just visiting for shopping and enjoyment.
“No development is witnessed on the long-standing Kashmir dispute.”
He questioned that there is no single state institution which has improved during the regime of PML-N as compared to former President General (Retd) Pervez Musharraf in the country.
“There is no difference between dictatorship of General (Retd) Pervez Musharraf and democracy of Nawaz Sharif”, he added
Imran Khan alleged that officials of democratic institutions are being bribed by the PML-N government.
Responding to a question regarding Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT), he said that concerns of PAT are just, adding that as many as 14 people were targeted and scores were injured in Model Town incident.
He further said that that PTI was with PAT.
