Kanwar Naveed's ECG normal, NICVD authorities confirmed

KARACHI: The authorities of the National Institute of Cardio Vascular Diseases (NICVD) have confirmed the ECG test report of MQM leader Kanwar Naveed is negative.

Naveed does not have any big cardiac issues currently, but due to hypertension his blood pressure is not under control as yet, the hospital authorities revealed.

Kanwar Naveed Jameel, Member of National Assembly and MQM leader was shifted to NICVD from central jail last night due to pain in chest.

Spokesman of the hospital said that a six-member medical team is keeping Naveed under observation.

Naveed had cardiac issues in the past as well and had an angioplasty in 2012.

Meanwhile, the medical team didn't take any immediate decision over echocardiogram of Naveed due to his high blood pressure.
