Qazi alleges ANP for ZBhutto era blasts

LAHORE: Former Amir of Jama’at Islami (JI) Qazi Hussain Ahmed stressed on forming a national policy against terrorism, Geo News reported Sunday.

Addressing a sitting at Tech Club here, the JI leader said he is absolutely in disagreement with the tactics used by Taliban, as it is not an appropriate thing to spread Islam through bomb blasts, blowing up music shops or frightening.

Qazi said, “Had the two large parties not backed Awami National Party (ANP), the province would not have been named as Khyber Pakhtoonkhaw, as it was a demand put up by the ANP alone.”

He also alleged that the ANP used to blow up bombs during the era of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.
