If you are the owner of an iPhone 7 it may be smart to avoid wearing gloves. One of the key changes made by Apple is the introduction of a new home button which is pressure sensitive.
This design is essential to the waterproof feature for the phone; however, there is a problem.
The new home button is useless for people wearing gloves or any material which covers the thumb. In the past users wearing gloves could not access the Touch Id feature but with the iPhone 7 it becomes impossible to unlock the phone.
This is because the new home button only registers direct skin contact. Any pressure no matter how hard will not be registered as a click.
