Indian PM Modi will not attend SAARC conference in Pakistan: Indian media

NEW DELHI:  Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will not attend the November's SAARC conference to be held in Islamabad .

According to reports in the Indian media, Modi’s decision to not visit Pakistan has already been made. An announcement on whether an Indian ministerial representative will be sent instead of Modi will be made closer to the date.

Reports in the Indian media further said this decision was taken weeks prior to Sunday’s attack in Indian Occupied Kashmir in which 17 soldiers were killed.
