ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shireen Mazari on Tuesday alleged that IESCO had disconnected electricity to her house despite a pending case in court.
“I mentioned in my privilege motion that IESCO acted illegally when they disconnected and then reconnected my electricity despite a court case. Abid Sher Ali tweeted my electivity bill in which he said I was an electricity thief.”
Mazari said she had added the name of Abid Sher Ali in her privilege motion which is why instructions were given not to act on it.
The PTI leader added that in parliamentary committees headed by PML-N there was no justice for opposition members. According to her privilege motions filed especially by the PTI would not be accepted and this was the case for two which were filed on Tuesday.
