Baba Ladla Group Death Squad leader arrested from Sehwan

KARACHI: Police arrested Lyari gang war group Baba Ladla’s Death Squad in-charge Qari Qasim along with two accomplices from Sehwan Sharif in a targeted operation on Wednesday.

The suspect was wanted on charges of murder of Rangers and police officials and extortion. He and his accomplices have been transferred to Karachi for interrogation.

According to sources, authorities dug up huge stash of weapons, hand grenades and bullets in Gul Mohammad Lane of Lyari area after Qasim pinpointed the hiding spots following his arrest.

Police also nabbed 18 suspects during a search operation in Saeedabad area of Baldia in Karachi. The suspects are being interrogated for involvement in various crimes.

Jamshed Quarter Police conducted a search operation in Baloch para. SP Tahir Noorani, who headed the operation, said the raid was carried out after identification by murder suspects of the martyred CTD official.

In Defence area a suspect wanted for two murders and over 60 robberies was arrested in injured condition after encounter with police.
