Amir hosts lavish Walima dinner in Lahore

LAHORE: Mohammad Amir hosted a lavish Walima dinner to celebrate his wedding with Narjis Malik here on Wednesday, hours after which the lethal Pakistan pacer reached the Lahore airport to leave for Dubai for a T20 and ODI series against West Indies.

The Walima ceremony took place at DHA which was attended by close friends, family and the cricket fraternity. Pakistan Test team captain Misbah-ul-Haq and cricketers, Mohammad Hafeez and Kamran Akmal were also among the guests at the ceremony.

His wedding reception was held on Tuesday where the cricketer wore a gold Sherwani while the bride wore a red lehenga.

Amir had his nikkah ceremony two years ago with Narjis—a British Pakistani.

According to Amir, the marriage is a love marriage and both families happily consented to their union.

Narjis frequently takes to social media and shares updates about her husband and his achievements with her followers.
