KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Thursday reached Karachi’s Malir area where a huge crowd of supporters welcomed him.
On this occasion, he said that people of Karachi should vote for PPP in 2018 elections and show Nawaz Sharif that PPP is the party for the masses.
“Entire Pakistan was giving just one message: Pakistan khappay, Pakistan khappay,’ he added.
Earlier this month, PPP candidate secured Sindh Assembly seat PS-127 —a constituency which falls in Malir district.
The seat had fallen vacant due to the resignation of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) MPA Ashfaq Mangi after he joined Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP).
This was the first election in Karachi after MQM Pakistan disassociated itself from its founder following anti-Pakistan remarks and attack on a media house.
