RAWALPINDI: Major General Sarfraz Sattar has been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant General. He was commissioned in armoured corps in 1984, ISPR said on Friday.
He is presently commanding an infantry division at Sialkot. He has been DG MI and also defence attaché in India.
