ISLAMABAD: Security personnel have apprehended five terrorists involved in the deadly bombing on Mardan's district courts which resulted in the loss of 14 innocent lives last month, the prime minister's office announced on Saturday.
In a statement, the PM's spokesperson said that, upon interrogation of the suspects, four more terror plots were discovered and subsequently thwarted, saving hundreds of lives.
"The prime minister would like to thank the premier intelligence agency for their hard work and congratulate them on their success on thwarting extremist terrorism and putting us one step closer to a safe and secure Pakistan," the statement from the PM House.
