Muharram-ul-Haram moon sighted
The first of Muharram ul-Haram will be observed on October 3 (Monday) and Youm-e-Ashur on October 12 (Wednesday)

KARACHI: The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee announced on Sunday that the moon for the holy month of Muharram ul-Haram has been sighted.
The committee held its meeting under the chair of Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman and was attended by members of the zonal Ruet-e-Hilal committees.
The first of Muharram ul-Haram will be observed on October 3 (Monday) and Youm-e-Ashur on October 12 (Wednesday).
According to a government press release, first Muharram will be a public holiday in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
