KARACHI: A petition regarding the Safoora Bus Attack was heard in the Sindh High Court on Monday.
The petitioners said that Sajid alias Paina who was acquitted by the military court has been missing and he should be handed over to the civilian government.
The petitioner added that five of the death row convicts had been transferred to a jail after their trial took place in a military court.
One of them Naeem Sajid is kept in a dark room, his lawyer told the judge.
To this the additional attorney judge said that the state institutions should not be criticized.
Justice Aqeel Ahmed asked the petitioner to avoid getting emotional. “We will find out who is being wronged.”
“Who is saying that your client is being kept in a dark room? " he said adding that a parallel justice system is being run in the country.
The court maintained that it was the duty of the federal government to give information about military courts and the treatment meted out to convicts.
